Inscription Options

A name and dates, or other short phrase can be stamped directly into the bronze. The typeface, pictured below, is 5/32" high, simple, appropriate for the bronze, and it is all uppercase.

An inscription will make your urn a custom urn (see return policy in FAQ page) and will cost $2.00 per letter or number. It is recommended that you keep the inscription brief. Use only capital letters, numbers, dashes, slashes, ampersands (&), and periods. Please proofread your inscription thoroughly when submitting an order request. To inscribe or not to inscribe

For some, an inscription personalizes the urn and makes an important link to the loved one's memory. Others prefer not to use inscriptions in order to keep the personal significance of the sculpture private. As a compromise, many families choose to have the inscription placed on the back of the sculpture.

Inscription placements

These images show typical placements for inscriptions. Indicate in the comment box of the order request whether you would like a prominent placement on the front of the urn, a discrete placement on the back of the urn, or some other position. If you do not indicate a preference, the inscription will go on the back of the urn.
