A name and dates, phrase, or whole paragraph can be stamped directly into the bronze. We’ll have a conversation about where to place the inscription on the urn. Then you will receive a drawing of your inscription and placement for approval - or editing. The text is all uppercase and usually about 5/32 inch in height.
$2 per character - spaces are not counted. $75 minimum.
I can also do characters that could be reproduced with a cuneiform type stroke - for instance Japanese or Chinese or even a western font that is similarly constructed (such as I do with my signature). Such inscription orders will be quoted separately.
Note: Copyrighted material (a song lyric, poem, quote, etc.) requires the author or owner’s written permission - unless (generally) the author has been dead for 70 years or more .
Nature & various recipes interact with bronze to produce natural, unpredictable hues within the loose range of color that you have chosen. These are fine art patinas, not the bland, production patinas of commercial urns.
