One of my earliest urn designs - still a favorite.

The Sunset Sunrise Urn is inspired by all manner of spherical cosmic bodies - the sun, the full moon, the planets. It comes with an easel, but it can also lay flat on a shelf or table. The opening is on the back of the urn. The easel is not suitable for outdoors. The first image shows the optional Gold Stardust.

Here is the tree I have always wanted to make. It took a long while to work out an approach, but finally here we are. Trees mean so many things to me I wouldn’t know where to start.

Custom Pyramid Urns of 160 cubic inches: $875
These urns can be made tall and narrow - or the expansive proportions of the Great Pyramid of Giza - or a medium form in between. The opening on the Pyramid urns is closed with a press-fit brass cap. It works easily and keeps the price down. (These closures are not suitable for outdoor placement. See options below if you plan on an outdoor placement.)
There are several options. Notice the “puffed” pyramid with the subtle side bulge. Any of the pyramid urns can be puffed for an additional $125. If you prefer the classic opening with brass screws and bronze cover please add $250 - these can be placed outdoors.
Who does not love the moon? Just Google “moon quotes” every night for a month to read another great poem or subtle thought the moon has inspired. Always there is a light even in the darkness.
22.5” tall x 14” wide x 4.5” deep
200 cubic inches
$2100
A favorite kayak trip leads me past fields of American lotus floating in the water. They are beautiful and fragrant. The lotus is a universal symbol of transformation & rebirth, because the plant begins in the mud and darkness and emerges out into brilliant color and extravagant form.
20.5” wide x 6.5” high x 4.5” deep
200 cubic inches
$1800
Ashes usually come from the crematorium in a little, unfortunate box. I once asked myself, “What if these little boxes became birds and flew away?” This is the urn design which came to mind - catching the transformation about mid-way.

A selection of symbols are available for this urn. Each symbol is carefully designed as a rich, original graphic and made of solid bronze - each a jewel. The verdigris patina is a lovely contrast to the classic bronze patina. With noted exceptions the price is included with the Starfield & Far Hills urns. If you don’t want a symbol, deduct $200. The opening for the Starfield Urn is on the back behind the symbol.
Option: While not all ideas will be possible to accommodate, please feel free to request a symbol you don’t see here. A customization charge will apply.

Openings are on the bottom of the urns, unless the urn description indicates otherwise. Bronze urns (except for Pyramid urns) are opened by removing 5 to 8 solid brass screws as pictured. They are either rectangular or circular - depending on the urn. These can be placed inside or outside.
Pyramid Urns are closed with a brass snap-in closure.
Ceramic urns have a twist-out, solid brass cap that can be removed with a screwdriver or a coin.
Ceramic urns and Pyramid urns with standard snap-in closure are not suitable for outdoor placement.
